I am looking for a good gunsmith to install the front sight on my 1911 Gvnt 5". I have one of them fine RIA with the GI sight and I want to install a Trijicon Nightsight with a .125 post. My original front sight was a GI blade so the slide will need to be fitted / drilled to accept the new sight.

Can anyone make ant recommendations to a good gunsmith that can doo this?

If this is a tenon front sight, the old one just needs to be pulled off and the new sight properly staked on with a front sight staking tool. If you intend to mill a dovetail slot then Ray on the South Side, Nate (Ft. Daniel) on the North East side or Brian Ott on the West side should all be able to professionally mill the dovetail.
