Have had this girl for awhile, mounted a 4 X rimfire Leupold on her in low rings.Bore sighted the sevelte little thing, with yesterday being the first time any lead was sent downrange.
It shot suprisingly well with CCI's Standard Velocity. These are the results of my first 3 groups from the bench..........
She gave me confidence to take her out on my very next small game walk about.
With higher magnification and better ammo,Im curious as to what this rifle is truly capable of.
Used a small egg to give a perspective.Being able to hit an egg 9 outa 9 times at 50 yards without a miss, could put alot of food on the table in a time of woah and want.
Pretty good performance IMHO for a 136 year old design.....

Very cool rifle. Looks like it shoots great too. A keeper for sure.
It is certainly a keeper,I had heard some negatives, that some of the first models had not shot well due to numerous tight spots thru-out the barrell,Im stoked that is not the case with mine as I so wanted to like this sevelte little rifle, that feels so right in the hands.....Thank you good father, for granting my un-deserved desires...LOL!!!!!!
