About to head down myself and meet up with brother. Going to be a cold morning after just taking the little dog out to pee. 43 and a little breeze at the house and it will be about the same with maybe a little more wind at the land. Good luck to everyone heading into the woods and be careful.

Im out in the woods, but not very happy about this 10-15mph wind.
I've always questioned high wind hunts too but I have shot two large buck on same afternoon with 12mph winds and yesterday I shot an avg 8pt in 14mph wind around 5:30pm. IMHO, they become more visually alert and come out in the open a little more to check on things from a distance since they can't hear as well with wind and damp ground.

I put a blind out yesterday because it was supposed to rain… dummy me didn’t look at the forecast this morning so I went to the blind in stead of where I really wanted to go. Haha oh well. Gorgeous morning!!!! Good luck all.
