11/25 hunt

We went again tonight and all we saw was a skunk.

Saw 4 on the way in (1 small 8 chasing a doe) and 2 right at dark.... too dark once they showed for a good shot

Doe down this morning at 11:45. I ended up seeing 7 deer between 10 and 11:45. They moved late and were every where. Before 10 am I didn't see a thing. Dont get out of the stand before 12 anyone who is going in the morning.View attachment 974946

I was able to hit the woods about noon. Sat til dark, but didnt see anything. Am thankful that I had the opportunity to go. we'll hit it again in the AM. Good luck yall.

I've only been out twice this year sadly, due to work, and school. Slept in late, walked in the woods at 11:58, deer was down at 12:06.

Since I haven't been hunting as much, figured I'd get what I could get, have some meat. 110gr Hornday VMax does some damage. Ole buddy took about 3 steps and tumbled. Great terminal ballistics.
