Really starting to second guess my stand choice for the afternoon. Too late to move now though.

Picking up the grandsons 9:30 or so and headed to Hancock County for a couple days.

15 year old and 12 year old.

Hunted from 630 am till 11 am. Nothing. Heard a ton of hogs 50 yards from me in thick brush for 30 mins. Couldn’t see them, but they sounded like a freight train. I had my rifle ready the entire 30 mins.

My Daughter Mackenzie shot her second buck ever this evening! 60 yard shot with the .308 did him in. We got to watch him fall at the edge of the food plot. We saw two more deer after legal light, we let them move off, then went and got our hands on her buck!
