Got home and took 3 pistol shots down to my plates at 70 yards. Not even 10 minutes after that I had deer moving around the property corner back behind the shooting range.

Now I’m sitting waiting to see if anybody wants to come back.

Seen 1 small buck and 3 raccoon before i got tired of sitting in the rain.

Been on a public land hunt the past couple days. Congratulations to those of you who got a deer today!
I passed on an easy shot at a buck yesterday evening and sent a first time hunter back to that same spot this a.m. The rain slacked off at around 9:40 and the deer got on their feet. Around 10:00, he had a buck and a doe come in and start feeding on white oak acorns. I guess buck fever got him….he missed him.
I felt so bad for him but he was stoked just seeing deer on both days.
