I was watching some of the MSNBC debate on Aurora, which was really nothing new, one guy for, one guy against, Chris Matthews being a dbag.

One of the points of discussion was the 100 round mag, and the pro gun guy kept saying, "that's already illegal."

Does Colorado limit mag size? Or was this guy wrong?

He was an idiot. Only 6 states dont allow "powerful" high cap mags

Q. What states restrict powerful high-capacity magazines?

A. Now only 6 states and D.C. limit the capacity of magazines. State Regulations exist in California, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York.

It might have been those beta mags. If you dont use the graphite and lube it properly it will jam. Lord knows how many lives were saved because that rifle jammed.

that guy is just a piece of ****

anyone who claims him to be a gun nut is ignorant on that end also, if he were such a gun nut he would have known about SPORTS or how to properly maintain his weapon

Not exactly true. The city of Denver and most of the surrounding mini-cities that make up denver metro have limited magazine size to 20 rounds.

It's important to note that not all states have preemption on firearms laws and many (like colorado) allow individual cities and towns to make up their own gun laws as they see fit
so while it isn't against STATE law it is against the law inside city limits.

I work with a bunch of guys that live there and this is a never-ending point of contention for them.
