She is a certified deerslayer… Killed all using bow, crossbow, shotgun, muzzleloader and her trusty .243…

No pistols yet…she is intrigued and is considering taking a doe with my 10 mm w/RMR.

I was doing some prep stuff, was getting ranges from the base of a stand to different spots in a pasture and had a decent buck bolt by me around noon. I have been waiting for it to cool off, thinking there would be better movement then, but it turns out I'm clearly not what you'd call a good hunter.

Hunted this morning and an early afternoon hunt but didn't see anything except a lot of tree rats. Scraps everywhere I looked and fresh ones around the stands. Nothing was moving in Woodbury as I didn't even hear a shot today. Oh well, could have been at work.
