Yeah, mine is wearing two shades, 6 and a 3. I used to run only the 3 but was tired off the 6 falling off my reloading bench everytime it got knocked over. Figure if it is on the gun, it won't get lost. 9 inches of shade is a bit extreme, but in NM where I am from, you can never have too much shade.
