10/22 .920 Barrel Iron Sights???

Sooooooo, I got a 'bull barrel' for my Ruger. I hate scopes (though I have two) and would really prefer to just shoot with some good, dependable iron sights. I'm not gonna lie, I don't even know where to start looking. I checked out Tech Sights, but if possible, I'd like to avoid something slipping over the barrel (seems sketchy to me).

Has anyone been down this path? Can you recommend a set of sights?

Ideally I'd like a front sight that slipped on via a ring base (or something similar that can't potentially obstruct the round).

No need to be skeptical about the Tech Sights adapter, I've installed several for customers and if properly installed they work very well with no danger of them falling off or obstructing the bore. Alternatively, you can have a dovetail cut in your barrel and install a sight or drill and tap it and have a dovetailed sight base screwed on.
