Thanks for sharing the story.
Only an experienced hunter would know what’s coming when they see the spikes snapping their heads looking at something coming.
I keep telling young hunters in my family to be patient when they see the young bucks, watch them and see if they start looking back and look where they look cause in many cases the big boys wait behind and make sure the coast is clear and none of his friends get wacked before he makes an appearance.
Oh yeah that played out so nicely for you.
my 8 pointer I took this season was a very similar situation but I had no cameras or any idea they had been coming through.
I just went to that area on a hunch cause something kept telling me to go back there.
