Had a sure enough dandy at about 70 yards this evening. Would've been my biggest deer, he was around 120 if I had to guess. He didn't come any closer, had he met me half way I would've sent a grim reaper and gold tip his way. I'll be back in the same spot tomorrow evening with a rifle. He just appear out of some tall weeds in a clear cut, stood there watching a doe feed around in the plot I was on the edge of. He stayed in front of me for what felt like an eternity but was really maybe a minute or so. He put his head back down and walked on back into the tall weeds. I stayed on ready until dark.
Had a good one on camera this morning come by my ground blind, I'm torn on shooting him if I see him, while I want to I just don't know 100%, he's a good one but would be a great one next year.
