Are they marked as Beretta 81 mags?
  2. beretta mod 81 .32 acp-italian police trade ins

Maybe a Tomcat or Bobcat with a tip up barrel would be a good compromise? The slide on my 81 isn't nearly as tough to cycle as my P07.

I’m not knocking anyone for carrying a .32 anything. I carry one often. I’ve long been an advocate of accuracy and reliability trumping caliber and capacity. I also don’t use the fictitious actions of a movie character to justify my carry caliber choices. :)
  4. beretta mod 81 .32 acp-italian police trade ins

Because Hollywood movies are the final authority in terminal ballistics...
  5. beretta mod 81 .32 acp-italian police trade ins

I’ve yet to crack the code on why it’s so hard to copy a piece of sheet metal with a spring and a follower and have it work at least as well as OEM.

I bought two of the converted Beretta 84 mags. They both worked well the first outing. The second outing they jammed up so badly I had to disassemble the magazines to get the rounds out and clear the jams. The internal dimensions of the magazine bodies are different and the cartridges don’t...

Gotcha. They have been Out Of Stock for some time.

Where are you seeing spare mags that are available?
  9. Ruger Charger 10/22 Pistol

Which CCI ammo were you using?
  10. Remington R51 Review

I didn't describe it very well.
  11. Remington R51 Review

As I understand the design, there is an internal hammer and it is a single action trigger. It's similar in feel to a double action revolver although lighter (around 5.5 pounds) and shorter.
  12. Remington R51 Review

R51's are an entirely different animal than the Browning and Walther based systems.
  13. Remington R51 Review

Nice review. I wanted one in 2014 and still want one. Looks like the prices went up a bit from the original 2014 price. I think I'm going to wait just a bit longer until I see some folks getting a few thousand rounds through them and see how well they hold up.
  14. S&W M&P Full Size 22lr Pistol. (Very disappointing.)

I'm sure he could if we had a safe place to do that sort of thing.
  15. S&W M&P Full Size 22lr Pistol. (Very disappointing.)

I hate to hear you got a bad one. My son's is still capable of hitting golf balls at seven yards.
  16. CZ 455 Varmint 22lr.

I've long been interested in one of these. I'm interested in your reviews.
  17. S&W Model 60 vs Ruger SP 101

S&W J frames use a coil main spring while the larger frame revolvers use a flat main spring. Couple that with traditionally smaller grips and they become more difficult to manipulate a proper trigger press. Apex sells a kit that comes highly recommended. To be fair, the SP101 uses a coil...
  18. Colt Detective Special .38 Special: Excellent revolver for self defense use

I'm interested in how well they do for you. Please keep us posted.
