And 22 ammo goes to crap when it gets old. Don't know why but I try to not have 22 ammo older than about 3 or 4 years. Seems like any older than than and it starts losing potency. I have a old box of CCI mini mags that can barely get the bullets out of the barrel anymore.
Interesting. It seems the out of spec areas vary from lower to lower. While I did notice the trigger pin hole to be ever so slightly too large, the hole for the hammer pin and bolt catch seem fine and the trigger pin hole isn't out of spec enough to really cause any headache. Kind of makes me...
At this point I wouldn't let them exchange it so it is really a moot point. I'm sure as people start to build these they will get all the feedback they need. Besides, maybe they will get their act together and become the next Daniel Defense. Then my low serial numbered out of spec piece of crap...
All in all I'm happy with it. Had I been a first time builder I probably would have broken the lower attempting to get the roll pin in. That would have really pissed me off and probably scared me away from ever attempting to build another one.
I had really high hopes for these lowers. When I first saw them I knew I had to have one for the IDF build I have been working on. Tuesday I ran up to Cherokee Gun and Pawn and picked one up.
Appearance.
These lowers look great. The mill work on them is top notch as is the anodizing. The...
Yeah, I try to stay out of Floyd and Bartow county gun stores. I venture into Toms in Rome from time to time, but only because I like Tom, his prices however generally suck. I have only been in country sportsman 5 or 6 times, but each time left pissed off and swearing I would never return.
I stand corrected. I did not realise they used FN barrels but the website clearly says otherwise. My apologies. It appears I don't know everything afterall..(don't tell my wife) ;). Sweet rig. I dig the stand as well. Might have to get you to make me one.
Oh, please don't get me wrong. It is indeed a sweet rifle, I love me some PSA. PSA is my favorite manufacture of current production guns, and my goto shop for all things AR. I just have never heard of PSA using anything other than their barrels in their uppers. The fact that it came from country...
Correction, upon closer inspection that appears to be an A2 flash hider. Still wonder about the FN barrel as well as if those parts I mentioned are marked with the PSA logo.
I don't think.that is a factory psa gun. PSA upper wouldn't have a FN barrel or an A1 flash hider. Is the upper, bolt carrier, and original buffer marked with the PSA logo?
Looks like your front sight is on backwards. You might want you reconsider using plastic sights on the gas block as well. That is unless you only fire 1 round every couple of minutes.
