Exactly. I do have a chart for Gasport sizing. At least it’s a good guide to start with. I’ll be running a can on it sometimes. Still waiting for my can to get out of jail.
I have a bunch of extra HK parts too that I don’t need anymore
Just have to find a gunsmith first called one but he’s not interested in doing it
Should run really great the only thing you have to watch is the Gasport size and making sure it’s properly gassed
Have a HK barrel cut down and threaded. Since it’s an AR platform they may need to do some work on the gas port as well to make sure it’s properly gassed. Just looking for someone who knows what they are doing.
Yes I would just buy a different a shorter however the 10.4 HK barrel is sold out...
Yeah definitely not a big fan of adjustable gas block. Really it’s trying to decide between between the different weight buffers. Have some from 4 1/2 ounces all the way to over 6 ounces
yeah I’ll have no interest in going to the adjustable gas block especially with not shooting a suppressed rifle. Funny you mention that I have theirs already pulled up on optics planet
I run 55 fmj out of it. I don’t really go into heavier rounds in that rifle.
It is a factor built gun with a different bolt carrier. I wanted a better one. It’s just a cheap PSA rifle.
Since this is a cheap rifle I’m not trying to go to in-depth. Just looking to tune the gas system a bit for...
Over gassed rifles is pretty common when running a shorter barrel. One simple fix is bye do you want adjustable gas block or changing your buffer out. The question is which weight buffer to go with. Most rifles are set up with the carving buffer which is 3 ounces. Looking to switch mine out to...
Looking for a place to get my shotgun done. Would be great if it was on the north side of Atl but not necessary. Any recommendations would be great. Thank you.
