Who's the closest good applicator to Blue Ridge?
I have some projects left over from when I closed my own shop and I need to get them completed. This is simple, solid color stuff that is already disassembled and blasted, though it will likely need touch up blasting before coating...
Unfortunately this applies to me as well. I'm not really an AK or SKS guy. In your particular situation I'd do all I can to help you but I'm not set up to do what you need done with that thing now. I can't recommend anyone in this Blue Ridge/Ellijay area to do the work either. What I would...
@kuduman I just got your email. I'll sit down and send you a message back tonight. I believe we can get you fixed up no problem.
I appreciate all you guys thinking about me when it comes to the 10/22 stuff!
Sorry I'm late to this party. Did you get your gun straightened out? If you didn't please message me and let me know and we'll get it sorted out. Hate I didn't see this when you were initially having the problem. I've been so busy at work I haven't been on the forum as much as I'd like.

That is a Ruger factory aluminum trigger housing. If it's exceptionally smooth it's likely someone either worked over or replaced the original internals. If you'll post a picture of the entire housing, or of the hammer and sear, I may be able to tell you more about it.
Thanks for the shout out VanillaGuerilla!
Here's my 2cents on the subject. Hope it helps!
$100 is a tight budget, but you can accomplish some things with it. How much you can DIY will determine a lot of where to put that money. The two biggest things that affect accuracy and enjoyability...
I'd look at selling your existing barrel someplace like eBay and just buying one already threaded. You may come out cheaper that way depending on the threading cost.
No, you can find ten people I'm sure before I get home...unfortunately! Earliest I'll be home is April, and it may be June. I'm not sure exactly yet. I like a project where I've got free reign to use my imagination though! I can always do the 22 again down the road if you need it. ;o)
