He and I both were excited, He's grouping them on a pie plate at 20 yards. I'm hoping he'll be at 45 pounds by deer season, so he can bow hunt with it.
I got my son a Bear Apprentice 2 bow for Christmas. Nice bow 15-27 adjustable draw and 20-60 pull. Anyway, after a few days of shooting 22 inch and 35 pounds at 15 yards he split his first arrow. I was 35 when I done my first Robin Hood.
I had the kids crossbow sighted in with field tips ( 125 ). Switched to broadheads ( same weight )just before opening day and he was 12 inches high and 12 inches to the right. It was a good thing the target was big enough to allow for this kind of miss. Like said before get up on the roof...
