3 day archery fun shoot - August 21-22, 2010...
Cost me $45.00 (3 arrows), (yes, I am a slow learner), before I quit shooting at the same spot.
Now you are ready, hope you get a clear shot and make it count.
One of the best shoots in Ga. will be coming up August 21-22 in Albany at Big Jims.
There are two 20 target ranges, Jim and his wife host the shoot and are among some of the best folks you will meet.
Jim is a traditional shooter and builds bows as well, twice a year he invites us "compounders"...

He host a tournament twice a year and invites the compounds to participate. He and his wife are really nice people, anyone that shoots a bow...
Only been to a few shoots, here goes my 2 cents.
Most of the 3D shoots i have attended have 20 targets scattered through the woods. As you approach a target area you will find a stake in the ground, some have more than one stake, (for different levels of experience).First you have to guess the...
You missed a fun shoot and a great bunch of folks if you did not make this shoot.Everyone was friendly, food was good and priced fair, had Iron Buck, one heck of a shot over a lake. (83 yards at a bear)
The Strothers bows looked real nice also.
There was a lady pushing a baby stroller and a...
