    Ok, thanks. The one place I go has produced 6 foot black tips and sometimes bigger. I have a big bait caster filled with 100lb braid, but can only take the line out far enough with the kayak. It does not cast good at all and it’s to be expected with that line.

They have the cheaper Tiger rod that is as beefie and only takes up to 40 if I read it correctly. I’ll do some more googling. Not going until June...
