When I was 22 I quit working for my dad and opened my own sheet metal shop. He invited me to breakfast or lunch almost every Saturday for 5 years, but I was too busy building my business and never went. He died on the job at 59. Take the time while you have it.
I'm in Ft. Morgan, AL, 2 miles from the end of the peninsula. 35mph wind gusts so far. Plenty of debris still laying around from Hurricane Sally, hopefully it'll stay on the ground.
Thanks bud, i have a 1 year old and a 4 year old, trying to get things part way back to normal for whenever they can come back. There's a member on here with a place at Navy Cove, can't remember who, but is trashed, building not so bad, but boats and docks are f*cked....
I sent the wife and kids back to Atlanta, got back to my house at 4. Lost AC unit and a lot of tools. Water came thru windows and flooded some. Lots of debris. No power, no power poles. Beer is still cold and we did A LOT better than the neighbors....
