    good to hear. Have the exact scope and that ring does turn and works great. I have grown fond of old, japan made Tascos because they are commonly undervalued. Old Tasco Titans (30mm tube) have fantastic glass. a drop of acetone (polish remover) can work wonders.

    Optic suggestions for my Redhawk 44mag

    i used a luepold 2x20 on my redhawk for 15 yrs before the retical failed. Switched to a TC pistol scope. So far fine. larger objective helps with transmission at low light hunting conditions. Btw, also found that practice witha scope really really helped my pistol shooting.

    Thanks guys, Id like to stay under $300, and I could probably be fine with 400 yds. Which is still way out of my shooting range!

    Hey all, I'm needing a rangefinder for deer hunting, and occasional varmit control. Would like to be able to range for bow, and rifle out 600 yards. But on a budget here. looking for user recommendations. thanks Greg
