    Thats my next add on. An automatic door. Ventilation is really good in mine snce the upper wall is open but covered by dog wire. I might try and add foam boards to the roof. I'm definately putting in a gutter to collect rain to water them

    the tarped run is built using 4 cattle panel with cage wire fixed to it using twists of electric fence wire. The coop was built from plans but has a tin roof since shinglea get hot ad heavy. The tin was upcycles from the scrapyard. We also had a 4th chick hatch last night the nesting box...

  5. Attempt to keep predators like coons and possums out of my chicken pen using carpet tack installed on the top rail.

    You could do a partial or full arch using cattle panel and chickenwire. Also elctric fence wire works well to bind stuff together

    The house I bought recently has a large (20x15) shed in the yard. It doesn't have a foundation and I would like to add one. I do not know if it would be cheaper/easier to sell the building, lay a foundation in and get a metal building OR if its better to Move it, add a foundation and put shed...

    looks like i'm going to have to pay someone to do this, work has me chained to the bench :( if anyone has a reccomended person or roofer please let me know

    Only problem is i will have to seal up attic access stairs and use vent to run blower tube. I want to do soffets before replacing insulation. I feel like that is best order to do things

    I dont know which type of vent is proper. The roof under the eve is solid with vents spaced out around perimeter. The gable part of the house has big vents. Idk if i need to remove these or leave them. I am trying to make the house insulate better and not have rotting gutters/soffets

    I bought a house and the soffets are rottten. The attic insulation is also very thin.The house is 1600sq ft. Does anyone know what it would cost me to have someone do the soffets and re-blow the insulation?
