    The first gun I threaded was a Remington 572 pump. Enough meat forward of sight for threads and still be able to aim. Can hold 21 rounds of shorts. Less noise than a red Ryder. No semi gas noise. Rapid fire with pump action @Gadgetsrfun has used it some. Some much fun

    I have a Winchester 9422M that my dad gave me when I was 10. With period correct scope, it is accurate and easy to acquire target. Good compromise between auto and bolt

    Just make sure you keep barrel clean and each projectile leaves the barrel. Long barrels and slow boolets can lead to some danger
