I'm looking for some insight into the value of a Remington Baikal 410 shotgun.
A friend of the family's husband passed recently. She found this in the back of a closet and doesn't know much about it. Didn't even know it was in the house.
Doesn't appear to have been shot much, if at all...
It looks to either be a MKIII missing the charger bridge, or it's MK1.
If it's a MK1, could still have a bit of value, even as sporterized...
If it's a MKIII with the charger bridge having been removed, I'd say it's worth even less than Mr. Moon's estimate...
What's the year on the receiver?
That does look pretty cool, but I've never been on board with making a real weapon look similar to a toy.

Problem seems that a lot of gun owners are adverse to putting their name on a letter to ATF... Somebody said it earlier. The squeaky wheel gets the attention, whether it's now for the opinion or later when the ATF is looking around for somebody to chase.

I have an old Marlin rimfire bolt action that is in great shape and incredibly accurate. I think it deserves a better scope than the cheap plastic tube scopes that are all over the place now.
