  1. Baikal 410 Question

    Anybody?
  2. Baikal 410 Question

I'm looking for some insight into the value of a Remington Baikal 410 shotgun. A friend of the family's husband passed recently. She found this in the back of a closet and doesn't know much about it. Didn't even know it was in the house. Doesn't appear to have been shot much, if at all...
  3. Who’s your go-to iwb holster

Second vote for Milt Sparks. Outstanding holsters. VM2
  4. What is this thing?!?!? Rifle trivia!!!

It looks to either be a MKIII missing the charger bridge, or it's MK1. If it's a MK1, could still have a bit of value, even as sporterized... If it's a MKIII with the charger bridge having been removed, I'd say it's worth even less than Mr. Moon's estimate... What's the year on the receiver?
  5. Found an old pic of the first full 1911 build I did

    You still do 1911 work?
  6. Covering serial numbers in firearm pictures?

Maybe so some stranger can't take the number and report it as stolen...?
  7. Never really had a desire to get anything cerakoted - until now.

That does look pretty cool, but I've never been on board with making a real weapon look similar to a toy. Has the potential to make an officer's job that much harder.
  8. Buying guns on a whim

I was about 95% certain you'd go there after I proof read my post... Definition of have someone pegged : to understood what kind of person someone is The salesman had me pegged in a matter of minutes.
  9. Buying guns on a whim

    Well that's surprising. I would have pegged you for a .22lr he/him...
  10. DOJ / ATF Brace Letter

Problem seems that a lot of gun owners are adverse to putting their name on a letter to ATF... Somebody said it earlier. The squeaky wheel gets the attention, whether it's now for the opinion or later when the ATF is looking around for somebody to chase.
  11. British 303 stock?

Oh, didn't hear about Springfield Sporters.... that's too bad. They were a very good source for SMLE parts. Sarco periodically has new production wood stocks. Get on their notification list. https://www.sarcoinc.com/enfield-no-1-mkiii-stock-set-complete/ In stock...
  12. Contact the ATF and your reps to say pistol braces should not be registered!

Is calling you an arrogant **** against the rules?
  13. Century Gun Porn - No, the ones 100 years or older, not from the manufacturer

1909 No. 1 Mk I, SMLE Still working on restoration...
  14. 1911 Gunsmith

So, how do we get ahold of 1911 Bob?
  15. Well it has started..braces

Remind me what happens after three business days of no response from a NICS check...
  16. Is this a hollow point bullet?

So how would a solid lead bullet factor into it?
  17. School me on bulletproof vests plates etc.

Interesting thread. So... what's a good recommendation for a soft setup that would fit under some outer wear and stop a hand gun round to the back or knife stab from some BLM or Antifa schmuck...
  18. Looking for a Enfield SMLE Gunsmith

Not too many springs to be concerned about. Very easy to change all them yourself if desired.
  19. Rimfire scope recommendation

I have an old Marlin rimfire bolt action that is in great shape and incredibly accurate. I think it deserves a better scope than the cheap plastic tube scopes that are all over the place now. Anybody have some recommendations on a nice metal tube rimfire scope to keep an eye out for? I'd...
