This may sound crazy but if I had to bugout, I think I’d rather have a 22 lr with hv ammo, can carry thousands of more rounds and I’m not planning on clearing any rooms, with the right scope can get out a couple hundred yds,shot placement being critical, thankfully where I live I’m able to shoot...

I have this old 10/22 I bought at wal-mart back in the early 90’s it always been good to me. This is the one I taught my son & daughter to shoot with, now their grown and gone out on their own, me and the grandkids shoot it. Thousands of rounds through it with no problems at all.
