Okay, I just joined the club. Have been looking for a Rossi 92 with the 16" barrel in .357/.38Spcl and finally picked one up yesterday from a great member. Remarkable how smooth the action is. And with the 16" barrel it handles really quickly. Quick to aim. Can't wait to shoot it.

SO, post up your favorite lever guns!

Love me some lever guns. I actually enjoy shooting lever guns more than any other rifle.

Here's my JM stamped, pre-cross bolt safety Marlin 336 in its natural habitat...

Here is a better picture of it. I need to get some new pics though. A friend of mine refinished the wood on it and cleaned it up a bit and it looks way better now...

On the top in this pic is my 1894 Winchester that was handed down to me by my Grandfather before he passed. It is all original and was made in 1910. The bottom one in the pic is a Winchester '94 Buffalo Bill Commemorative edition that I had, but I traded it off. I kinda wish I would have kept it though. It was 99% condition and was unfired. It was missing the box and docs though so a lot of its collector value was gone because of that.

Here's my old 1894 Winchester. Top eject with a side mount scope. I could never get used to the side mount scope though so I got rid of it in favor of a Marlin.

Last year I refurbished a 1973 Marlin Texan, and I was able to give it to my father this past Christmas. These are a few pics of the final assembly, though I cant find a pic of the finished rifle. The metal was refinished (stripped and rust blued) and the wood was stripped and refinished with Tru-oil.

Some nice lever guns here. Here's my addition. 1990 Marlin 336 in 30-30 purchased from B.Byrd. I stripped the stock, stained it red mahogany and finished it off with a tung oil finish. Also added Skinner winged front and rear sights and the stock guard and sling to hold some extra rounds.
