    Meh, Chinese Aks were considered the bottom of the barrel junk they are before they banned importation. Same thing with the WASR. When they were readily available for $300 everywhere, nobody wanted that junk. Now they have dried up and suddenly they are top tier. All AKs are trash can rifles.

    No idea what it sells for now. I haven't bought any in several years, although truthfully, I haven't bought any ammo in several years. AKs are trash, ARs should be chambered in 5.56, and to a guy from out west, 308 is an intermediate 30 cal carbine. :cool:

    Naw, I never cared about it being whisper quiet. Most of my suppressed shooting is done with supersonic rifle rounds in 5.56 or 7.62x51. Subsonic means nothing to me. 300 BLK is nothing more than expensive 7.62x39 to me, and I have zero interest in that caliber as well.

    Yep. I have lost all interest in pistol caliber carbines for that very reason. If I am going to shoot a rifle, I want it to provide rifle ballistics. I have zero interest in 300 Butt Slut for the same reason.

    The UPS store hasn't accepted from non FFLs for as long as the UPS store has been a thing. Non FFLs have always had to ship from a UPS Facility (not a store) as far as UPS policy is concerned. Some UPS store employees have "looked the other way" in the past, but it's never been an approved method.

    The Taurus can be forgiven, I think I even have one of those TX22s around somewhere. The optic on the other hand, I wouldn't allow to be brought into my house much less attached to one of my firearms.

    Eh, price was right and not worried about some paint. I may take it off or I may wear it off. Thank you, I believe you are correct about it being caspian. I was not aware they stamped lot numbers and had a Rockwell dimple on the disconnect rail.

    Picked up a 1911 the other day. Parts master 3000 but as ugly and wrong as it is, it’s kinda sexy too. I can ID everything but the slide. Appears to be duracoated or other crap painted finish over stainless. No markings on the flats or other exterior surfaces that I can see. Has a Kart...
