He’s inundated by all the websites that sell them and needs a recommendation for good quality products, without breaking the bank.

This is NOT uncommon. A Tampa police officer is suing Sig because his holstered gun fired when he brushed against it with his arm.
A deputy I used to work with was getting into his car and his holstered Sig 320 went off while he was getting seated.

If you absolutely can’t find a particular Glock at Blue Label pricing, you can always purchase it directly from Glock. Granted, it takes up to 6 months, but that’s better than never getting it.
