  1. Can my friend mail my firearm back to me?

FYI - UPS & Fedex no longer accepts any type of firearms from private parties. They only accept from FFL companies....nothing to do with the legality of shipping; it is their company policies now.
  2. PSA customer say he loves his new scope....

It's for CQC....that way you can see the whole target!!!
  3. 223 vs 357/44mag for kids 1st deer rifle

FYI....Just me 2¢ worth. I have a .357 Henry lever rifle, and it has almost no recoil when shooting. Rifle is a little heavy to carry around, but they make a single shot .357 that should work great. Also on a .223 round at 62 gr would have to be a good shot to drop a deer. On a .357 round at...
  4. DIY Hydrographic dipping - anyone try it?

I think I'm late to the game here. If the base coat is still intact and looks solid, I would agree that it was under activated. On heavy textured surface a good activation and a good entry angle will help. Also your film is important too....some of the batch or custom films are digitally printed...
  5. DIY Hydrographic dipping - anyone try it?

LethalEdge, I think we are partially neighbors. If you have any questions on this stuff, I’ll be happy to answer/help your new addiction....lol. We are the largest hydrographic company in the US and are located here in Georgia. We dip robotically for companies like Honda, John Deere, Yamaha...
  6. Tavor 7 experiences

I love bullpups and the SCAR. But as other members already mentioned, they are completely different animals. My recommendation is to shoot both if you haven’t and then decide. If you are close to me, may can set something up for you to shoot mine.
  7. Forced reset triggers

I've shot the Fostech Echo, Franklin, and FRT Rare Breed triggers....but haven't shot the WOT. I can say that by far the FRT trigger is the easiest to shoot and runs like a sewing machine. Between the binary triggers I liked the Fostech Echo better. Just an advise, you will need to run a...
  8. Give it to me straight on muzzle brakes...

I'm going to guess you are not going to be rattling rounds off like a newbie with an AR15 at the range. Instead you would be squeezing a round off after checking/adjusting after each shot. So I think you are good at the range with a break....everyone is required to have ear protection anyway.
  9. Mirror Polished my SS new model Colt King Cobra

You have us all drooling!!!......pictures please!!!
  10. Mares Leg

It's legal. Considered as a pistol. Henry manufactures them....one of my bucket list items.
  11. What are the downsides to pin and welding?

I thought I mention, if you ever go suppressed, you will have to pick a muzzle device to accommodate the suppressor.
  12. Steyr AUG vs Microtech MSAR STG-556

FYI - I had both and shot them side by side. The MSAR is a good rifle but the AUG "to me" just shot better. It shot smoother and a little more accurate. Plus the " fit & finish" was better too. But just a little bit. Originally for the price difference to me it was a wash, but since the AUG...
  13. The Colt Wheel Gun Market Crash

Same here.....have teenagers....my daughter has an eye on my '73 Pontiac....have to hide it from her when she gets her license!!! For my son and his friends; way too many video games and can't quite understand the mentality of them. With all of the HD video quality games out there, they get...
  14. School me on Bullpups

My 2 cents worth..... Shot/owned - AUG, MSAR, Tavor, and MDR. They all have their goods & bads, but if I can only keep one, it would be the AUG.
  15. Henry big boy 357

I will have to go check...I have Henrys and they are very well made and are heavy.....and they were not purchased at Walmart.
  16. Marlin 1894 vs Henry Big Boy

I love the Henrys......fit/finish/action/shooting and customer service are all top notch. If you are ever up in my area, I would let you shoot my Henry for reference. My opinion is that if the Marlin is in excellent/nice condition I would keep it....as the other members already mentioned, they...
  17. Need help fast! Savage 338 Lapua question

I'll take it for $500....hee....hee. Good snatch!!!
  18. Need Price Check on Ruger SR-556?

FYI - That's a DI operation.....the SR is a gas piston operation and are higher in price.....
