    Thought it was an interesting look at police qualifying. What are some drills that are recommended for self defense training?

    How exactly can you tell if an unarmed person intends to murder you? Strangulation, blunt trauma from kicking to the head, the rock next to the path, ect... Even if the person doesnt show it ATM it could escalate quickly if it comes to trading punches.

    Its possible my memory is bad but, I don't recall talking about stances recently. I recall debating penetration of certain rounds and bullet designs. Either way discussion is how I learn stuff. Input from various people with more experience than me is one of the best ways to get knowledge ATM.

    I'm certain they are highly trained not only by practice but by having to deal with situations constantly. I just think that some of the way they train is pretty "weird" for lack of a better word compared to training videos I've seen for our special forces and police. Even competition shooters...
