  1. Let's talk a little about carrying...

In cooler weather IWB. In hot weather I pocket carry. Always with one in the chamber. In a gunfight the first person to get a round on target it almost always the winner. Fractions of a second count.
  2. Pistol-thumb safety

If it's a 1911 type, part of a proper grip on the weapon has your thumb on top of the safety. So, as you grip the weapon the safety disengages naturally. You re-engage the safety anytime you are not actively engaging a target at the range, but only after all threats are neutralized in the real...

  5. What did you do to train today?

Yesterday. Practiced my draw from a new holster with dry fire. Taught some fundamental dry fire drills to a friend of my daughter and cleaned four long guns. For today I plan on cleaning several more long guns and practicing live fire draws from the same holster. Single shot, double taps with...

I'll mention it them politely once. If it happens again I won't be polite at all about it.
  9. Preventing getting in a blur when taking a shot.

This is one of the best reasons to participate in action shooting competitions. It definitely helps getting past the blur.
  10. Tactics - Take HD gun with you, daily

Different situations call for different weapons. All of which should be as instantly available as possible.

  12. Long Range Shooting Clubs/Areas

No. Not the last time I checked. You should probably let them know you're coming beforehand.
  13. Truck Pistol Location

Actually, it's pretty discreet. I've even had people in the car that took a while to notice it. I don't think I've ever had anyone outside the car see it. If I'm about to interact with police, I simply move it to inside the center console. I also have that option when leaving the car, if I...

  15. Should your carbine be on "safe" during a mag change?

Please tell us you're not serious.
  16. Should your carbine be on "safe" during a mag change?

No safety on a reload. Safe the weapon when the immediate engagement is over. Not before.
  17. Should your carbine be on "safe" during a mag change?

No. There are other times transitioning to pistol would be called for. Habitually putting it on safe during transition is a good idea.
  18. 12 shotgun tips for personal/home defense

I wish I had! LOL! How can anyone read this and still think a shotgun for HD is a good idea? And it didn't even mention the unnecessarily heavy recoil.
  19. Halle Berry training for John Wick 3
