    I don't think we will ever know the truth. Me personally I think it was hijacked. Rolls Royce is reporting that the engines were running for hours after the transponder was shut off. Someone in the cockpit cut it off manually .

    I have seen a few reports that show the engines were running for hours after the transponder cut off. Those engines report back on the regular the working order of the engines. If it was still in the air hours after the transponder cut off... than someone in the cockpit cut the transponder off...
