    I've bought a gun at gunshows, and those Dealers are generally from out of state. I bought a handgun at a gun show, from a dealer that's located in South Carolina (Before I had my GWL). Ran my background check, everything was good. I guess that's different since it's in the state.

    You can have it in your car, anywhere you want, no GWL required. I still suggest getting one though. In Georgia, it's not called a concealed carry permit. It's called a Georgia Weapon License, or Georgia Firearm License. With the license, you can carry concealed or openly.

    I see no problem with it. Legal is legal. Matter fact, I just did last week. Georgia Drivers License and the right amount of benjamins and you can have your pick at my guns.

    Well, the problem is we CAN legally carry in GA... it just require a permit, which require no test other than a background check. I believe with a firearm, it's probably a good idea. I do however, believe that we should be able to CC ANYWHERE we choose if we have the permit. I cant CC to work...

    It's like your GWL... do you carry it when you carry?? Or a Drivers License when you drive... I mean... it's probably a good idea to have all documentation saying it's legal. Cops don't always know the laws.
