    They are a pain in the arse. I own several 2nd gen camaros , Dont think they are date coded but possibly are. I rebuilt one years ago and it did not last long. its all about getting the adjustment just right.

    No, you will have to disconnect fuel line and allow it to drain. Hopefully fuel pump is still good. They have a tendency to corrode with the great ethanol gas.

    84 had cross fire injection. Empty gas tank before trying to crank it. Put some Sea Foam in with gas also.
