    When it becomes their bailiwick they'll be a competitive replacement. Until then they're no more than the 3rd vehicle you drive under certain circumstances, but not a replacement. Now, if I could find an ev with a generator and tank good for more than 100 miles, that might be reasonable.

    Depends on the specific car, condition, and history (wrecked or previously modified, etc.). Just because something's a classic doesn't mean it's worth more than another that's a beater. Sometimes a mod or retro-mod could be seen as a rescue rather than a ruin. Other than that, string 'em up.
