I have seen where some guys make a wooden block that is cut to fit the casings in order to keep them straight. But, that creates more steps. I am mainly trying to find the best, and most cost effective way to get everything squared away.
Yeah I was just looking at those. The seem sturdy enough to cut brass. I read some reviews where people were complaining about the performance when they cut harder metals but brass shouldn't present too much of a problem. I am assuming this is what you use? Have you had any issues with it?
I am gathering up all the needed equipment to load 300 blackout and I was curious what everyone was using to cut down the 223 brass. I bought a little crow trimmer but I noticed some people are using a small chop saw to cut the neck off the casing. What are you using?
