  1. Reloading accident

I wonder if he was watching tv while priming and managed to push a primer into an already primed case. Even still, after looking at my hand primer, the extension cuts off access to the tray once you squeeze the lever. Freak accidents happen. Hoping for a speedy recovery.
  2. Case Cleaning

When I was living in an apartment I did both, putting a thick rubber mat cut down on a majority of noise vs placing the tumblers on a carpet/tile/concrete floor.
  3. Pet Loads For 308/178 Hornady ELD Match

Someone with more precision shooting experience will jump in. But did you look at the OAL of the factory loaded ammo? Breaking out the chrono will help you see how you loads are acting against the factory ammo.
  4. 300 blackout brass

I'm going to start making my own soon as well, but until then I've had great luck with Carolina Brass. @Tusker6N If you don't mind, can you PM me your set up as well? The reviews for available saws/jigs are all over the place.
  5. Lee hand loader

Are you talking about the lee loader? Its the one where you use a rubber mallet to accomplish much of the loading. Or the Hand Press? Basically a single stage press that is handheld. I have experience with both, and after taking a 4 year hiatus from reloading have gone back to the hand...
  6. Beat this price hard cast

Awesome! Usually have very fast shipping, and great customer service.
  7. Beat this price hard cast

I shoot lead in my glock. Just check the barrel every now and then... 200 rds. And damn, I better send an email and try to get a commission. :-)
  8. Beat this price hard cast

Best price ive seen... I guess for yall too. I loaded 500 and all functioned flawlessly.
  9. Beat this price hard cast

I've gotten low on .401 projectiles, and so its time once again to order another 500. A great company makes .401 180 gr rnfp hard cast at 500 for $40 shipped anywhere in the us... So my challenge for yall is to find a site that can beat this price shipping included. Oh and this company is...
  10. What have you reloaded today?

Loaded up some 40 s&w... 200 using a single stage press, didn't take all that long either. I sized them/expanded all a few weeks ago and made a powder scoop to make it faster.
  11. Reloading supply in SE GA

Was in southeastern gun supply the other day, they had a few 1 lb powders cans/bottles... nothing I use... As far as components it seems like everyone is out. Theres a facebook page he can go on for Statesboro, I know someone had a bunch of supplies depending on what he needs, and I know some...
  12. Addicted...

Exactly, i found that even for my first try at it. I found them to be more accurate then some factory loads.
  13. Addicted...

Well I finally got out to the range with some of my own and first reloads... And as I'm sure you all can tell by the title I am addicted. Starting out slow with only a Lee Classic Loader, its very slow, but nonetheless I have been wasting away the last couple hours with my "Whack-a-mole"...
  14. Ga. Arms Thursday

I ordered a lee classic loader from optics planet on 12/25/12 saying it was in stock, finding out 5 days later it sold out three days before I ordered it... on 1/18/13 they said they had it in, in an email. But when I called with my order number to see when it would be shipped, for I am out of...
  15. Reloading: Anyone use the lee classic loader?

Ordered the loader, lube, powder measuring kit, and hammer tonight. Gotta wait till the 10th to get everything but excited to get into the hobby.
  16. Reloading: Anyone use the lee classic loader?

I was watching the videos an some used it while others didn't. My thought was that if I used the lube on the cases that the powder would stick to the walls of the cylinder....
  17. Reloading: Anyone use the lee classic loader?

Thanks everyone. I'll give it a try. I know some people don't put lube on the casing, while others do, for 9mm would you?
  18. Reloading: Anyone use the lee classic loader?

I've been mulling over reloading for a good while now. And think I'm going to give it a shot with the lee classic loader- yeah the one you use a hammer with... Now I know most of y'all won't suggest this one because you can't make high a volume of ammunition, and its not very conventional, but...
