Killed this Rio in Lincoln, Kansas on Monday morning. Watched him strut for 2 hours about 500yds away from me with two hens before he came close enough to hear a few yelps. He and the hen he had came in on a string.
DNR has yet to write its regs on how they will deal with suppressors on state land. They will be deciding soon. Hopefully I will be speaking at that conference, I got a tentative invitation to. No cans on federal land.
That was my main question, I know the T70 is light years more $$ than the RS, but for a designated night only gun, I was wondering if it was worth it over the RS. I'm sure detection range on the T70 dwarfs the RS. But an RS sure would take up less space on my 68 SBR.
BOOM. Awesome thermals you have there. If you were setting up a purely night time pig gun, would you go with the RS over the T70, or does the clip on still have more advantages?
Which model RS did you get? I'm on the verge of getting one and can't decide.
My new killer. Dd/ambush 6.8 cut down to 13~" and a sf socom on the end. Sighted her in today.
Dear ppl with hogs. Have machine guns, silencers and night vision. Will travel.
We whacked em this morning. Opening morning for us since we did the machine gun melee yesterday. Shot my 6 by 745AM. TONS of ducks moving too. This cold front really brought em in.
I know I'm a shill selling a product and all.... but call your damn senators and reps and tell them to pass hunting with suppressors. No need for uncomfortable muffs. Just an extra ~15oz hanging on the end of the gun.
Plus you get easier second shots on hogs and coyotes.
