    One more... Ha this is believable I guess but its pretty funny so I thought I'd share. This was last season. I knew something big was headed my way but I didn't know what!! Dang beef cow in the middle of the woods. Talk about eating good!

    Few years ago I hit a doe early morning on my four wheeler headed to a box stand. She ran out of some thicket and head butted the brush guard. The impact broke her kneck. I still can’t believe that I didn’t get hurt. Not a scratch. I take it a lot slower through the woods now.

  13. What Rifle are you taking on opening day

    I’ve come to appreciate my Ruger in 6.5 CM. Vortex Scope. Very accurate, and a relatively inexpensive set up. I don’t have to worry about dinging it up. Hornady 129 Grain.

    Spooked two walking in at right about 6am. I didn’t get a look at them but I heard them run off. I might not walk so far in next time or come from a different direction. Down here on a creek bottom. Pretty thick around it with a bunch of sign. Wishing everyone the best of luck !
