No Suzuki on your vote list?! I've been extremely happy with my '19 King Quad 500. 4x4, automatic, locking differential, Front and rear independent suspension, lots of storage and watertight compartments, fuel injected, extra headlight on the handlebars, tow hitch. Very fast, great handling...
9 pages is too much for me to read through so I hope this is relevant...
Go to going gear in Smyrna, and you'll be happy. If batteries are a concern, I would opt to pick up a rechargeable one. They have some now that will charge right up with a usb port. Super convenient.
At that point I think he would definitely be best off just buying them, right? I don't know what that would run, but it would have to be sneaking right up on the actual price.
I feel pretty confident that even and angle grinder would do the trick. You would want to go nice and easy and keep the wheel moving though. Like others have stated, the high heat can damage the properties of the steel, but I really don't think it would make a big enough difference. Also a steel...
If you plan on multiday hiking with gear, definitely get something that was intended for it and make sure it is adjustable to fit your body. It's all about being able to get the weight of the pack to ride on your waist and not hang from your shoulders. Also, pack the heaviest stuff on the top of...

I'll keep you updated, but everyone's use varies. That will always affect the battery life, so honesty it doesn't matter what I say. I use my EDC light a lot for work so if I can get a month out of it I'll be happy. Plus AAA's are super cheap and super available. They have specs listed for each...
Lost my Fenix E15 last week and picked this up at REI yesterday. Really happy with it as an EDC light. Extremely small. Thinner than my pinky, shorter than my middle finger. Runs on a single AAA battery, and 100 lumens on bright and three total modes. It has a pocket clip vs the lanyard that...
If I were you I would heat and press out the ejection port section of kydex as it will definitely mess with the finish of your glock. Most kydex makers will put a block in there during the molding process. Other than that it looks like a nice rig.
