you would hope, but in an interview the ATF rep said they would take "appropriate legal action".
that translates into "you are a non criminal free American. we will thro the book at you. its either that or go after criminals, and criminals fight back."
yea, but it was overturned.
the rules they are offering make about any ar pistol a sbr.
also
what or how you fire a weapon does not change the weapon. by their rules for over 10 years, the braces are legal. its settled law, but your boy biden wanted to screw with gun owners.
if you are ok...
so is the brace the sbr or the pistol? if its the brace, does it get the stamp? if its the pistol, does the stamp only count if you keep a brace on it? can the brace be used on a rifle and it still be a rifle?
my thoughts from an earlier post..
so if the brace will require a $200 tax stamp, then they should do a buy back. the new value is the cost of the brace + $200
blade $30 + $200 = $230
sba4 $180 + $200 = $380
so i think we should force them to do a buy back at value. after all they say its worth...
the ridiculesness of it is.....you cant possess the parts to build a suppressor, thats the problem with the "solvent traps". but now the atf has canceled all the tax stamp requests to make leagal form 1 suppressors because people are/were following the law and legally making suppressors. now the...
so buying parts that dont work as a suppressor, and them applying for the ransom required to build a suppressor is bad? i read they want you to send the pics of the parts you intend to use to make a suppressor along with your form 1 app. so they want you to give photographic evidence of intent to...
sorry
wrong....people like to think it was gangsters, but it was hunters. during the great depression they d not want people poaching deer and cows for food. but once they got their hands on it, they wont let go...
as others have said, separate it. when you go and pick it up( i know its not in your possession),get the barrels. add to them. on a single shot that was short i added a tec 9 flash can. i had to hollow it our and weld it to the barrel, but the it was over the 18" and i then put a receiver on it...
have not seen them that cheap. just going by what i have seen. people have said that legalizing suppressors would not change the price.but this is proof it would. the reason the cost so much is they sell them 1 at a time. if you did not need the stamp, they would sell them 10 at a time..
everyone...
just remember
you can buy it for 100 bucks. send in your form 1,get it back, drill the hole. and boom or boom, you are suppressed legally.
its only illegal if you can use it and its not registered and stamped..
cool
come by and hang out.. dad will be there, you will get to see the new owner of that 95.
i'm going up tomorrow with Brad from full blown. we can set up between 4 and 7.
