  1. Can I purchase a suppressor for someone as a gift? If so, how exactly?

Seems it’d be easier to just send them a check for the cost of stamp and can.
  2. Here it is, published this morning.

3 million HAHAHAHA! MAYBE in 5 states.
  3. Is a gun trust worth the money

so because its become an industry to find tax loopholes its ok and smart, but because he is using the ATF rules to his advantage its wrong? By what he said the ATF themselves are approving the changes so they cant blame anyone but themselves.
  4. Is a gun trust worth the money

isnt that just the same as tax loopholes? they wrote the law, you are just using it to your advantage.
  5. Beware Dead Air Odessa 9

Doesn’t even make sense why those holes are there? Like what function do they serve other than weight reduction?

Anyone with a old school c battery mag light has a suppressor now!

Any competent machinest/Smith can do it. Cmshoot is who you need to contact
  10. Ever been asked to see tax stamp?

Guy was probably thinking "I don't get paid near enough to give a **** about this" lol
  11. Older suppressors and their defunct companies.

AAC Octane 45, if i shoot a threaded pistol its normally on. If it ****s the bed then it happens. Not gonna lose any sleep over it.
  12. Worst suppressor you've owned

If it measured under 140db at the ear it would classify as hearing safe due to duration of exposure.
  13. Worst suppressor you've owned

What does that have to do with sonic crack? By your logic nothing is hearing safe. If you want to get technical hearing loss begins at 80db.
  14. Worst suppressor you've owned

what is the DB rating of a sonic boom? gonna be hard to answer that without getting into some serious math. The "loudness" of the boom is depended on the size of the object causing the boom. A needle breaking the sound barrier is a lot different than a fighter jet.
  15. Worst suppressor you've owned

    explain how its simple physics.
  16. Worst suppressor you've owned

yea id say you wouldnt want it there lol. its possible it was the tone, i am much more sensitive to high frequencies and tones than i am low ones. This was shooting dirty steel case wolf 55gr.
  17. Worst suppressor you've owned

If it's over 140 at the ear I would be surprised. I was shooting out from a metal carport and was amazed how quite it was. Hardly any gassing, super low tone, the only loud part was the supersonic crack. Maybe the rain played a part in it because it was damp and sprinkling that day.
  18. Worst suppressor you've owned

Daughters 1st birthday weekend so that ain't happening lol. You got a place to shoot over there? We ain't far apart.
  19. Worst suppressor you've owned

    Wanna bet? And it's a 30cal can, not a 5.56
