Did you check ebay? I bought a couple mounts from on there i couldnt find anywhere else. Also, check black ankle munitions. They seem to have stuff in stock and at decent prices.
Changing the end caps on the hybrid does seem to help when shooting different calibers. I'm not sure if its so much of a noise reduction with the changing caps, its almost like it deepens the tone a bit. I hope that actually makes sense.
I do indeed! I agree with you though, its fun for a mag or two and then it starts getting heavy. I'm currently eyeballing a 450 bushmaster AR build to suppress. SilencerCo told me earlier today that the min barrel length for 458 socom and 450 bush is 8" for both subs and supers.
I have a hybrid 46 and a spectre II. Only thing about the hybrid is that its big enough that suppressor height sights are the same height as the can. You'd need a red dot to shoot it on a pistol and aim precisely. It does handle the different calibers pretty well. I've only shot it on 9mm, 7...
I looked at the sparrow but I think the click together baffles work better for me vs the monocore in the sparrow. I've always heard the sparrow sounds better on a bolt action gun and the spectre sounds better on semi autos.
Sounds like a bad cartridge. I was shooting some CCI standard velocity suppressed on my Colt Walther 1911 and had a case get stuck in the barrel. Had to stick a cleaning rod down to break it loose. No cracks on it though.
It stays subsonic in my p09, which is a 5.1 inch barrel. I read the same thing HydroAuto just said, in a PCC with a longer barrel it will go supersonic. I've read the lawman will do the same. I read somewhere the fiocchi 158 grain wont go super in a PCC.
The Blazer 147 shoots good, no issues. I was a little worried when I saw the flat top bullets, I know some guns are picky about feeding these. My p09 ate em no issues though
Damn, I didn't realize the wolfman was that thick. I knew it had a short and long setup, 5 and 7 if I remember right. That's almost the size of my hybrid. I'll have to read up on the rugged obsidian.
