Hey ! I will research that! Thx soooo much!
I 3d printed an exhaust valve and cut out a piece of dental dam rubber for the seal. Works good! New design also, square intake with frame support for filter media. The purple stuff is vinyl impression material to create perfect and tight seal fit
Hey that’s a cool idea. I was thinking of a carb fuel check umbrella valve, they are rubber and would be quick to install, but this would work too. Thx!
I have 2, the one I made this with is an old Robox filament printer. I used coPET filament for this. I have a resin DLP Sprintray that is my go to but the platform is too small for a full size frame.
So, I was bored today. Flat out bored. So I did this. The hepa filter from my research is about the same as level 3 mask fabric. Print time is 3.3 hrs. Procurement of filter material was courtesy a rigid shop vac hepa filter, elastic from wife’s sewing basket, rubber band. It breaths ok if...
Just finished #3. ETA on 4? This and Joe Nobody's series have been very fun reading! Lee is like a badass virus, he just won't give up! great recommendation... Starting Mountain Man now.
You are welcome to a case of sample floss - no trading needed. PM me when you want to meet in Marietta / Woodstock area and the case is yours. Nice giving brushes away, they have become expensive!! I send quite a bit to Dominican for a charity and also to our boys in Afg.
The sample sizes I have are 3 or 5 yards and the cassette is 1" square - you know...the ones you get in the goodie bag after your cleaning. I give out brush, paste, and floss after each visit. They are the Glide kind - I like that teflon(not kevlar) type best...

It's also good for tying off the end of paracord , shoestrings, etc...

Only floss the ones you want to keep
I don't have a "bunker" - just a large tract of land with various shelters and supplies that are strategically placed. Both kids (<6ys) have a hard time hiking across the property to make it to a facility if we don't have the atv's. With some scrap wood I had lying around, $50 in supplies, and...
This is not really a survival thread, but I figured the folks that frequent this section would be most likely to help. I have some land in GA that I need some storage on for ATVs, supplies, tractor, etc... Has anyone used a shipping container in this fashion? What is the best and easiest way...
I have 2 friends and patients that are NRC folks and they have told me repeatedly that all plants are hardened and EVERY possible scenario has multiple redunant plans in place. The likelyod of a plant going down long term is slim to none esp on the east coast with the stable faults etc...
Thx -ordered it.
I just finished the "Holding Their Own" series by Joe Nobody. VERY good books about same topic. Paperbacks on Amazon. Same author as Bug Out, etc.... Short version: Bishop (former military, now security for company like blackwater) and his wife have to escape to his...
This is something to discuss, not gold/silver vs ammo - history has already answered that arguement repeatedly (and history always repeats itself). The EMP power-grid statement in #3 - I don't agree that it would be back up in 90 days. If most of the replacement parts are fried in the burst...
