    One thing I will be getting is a outdoor tank less propane water heater. I already have a high pressure 12v pump (like the ones in a camper) if power or water is out for a long time, a hot shower is the ticket.

  15. Generic brand canned food vs. more expensive national brands for storage

    Same cans, just a different product. I would go based on taste preferences. I like Publix brand on a lot of stuff. Watch out for dented cans, if the seal that is sprayed inside the can is broken, long term storage can contaminate the product.

    I'm right here till the end. I know my area very well, the resources I have or can have would be just as good if not better as anywhere else. In a SHTF situataion, I would have no problem dropping a theif or someone trying to take my house right where he stood.
