    Here’s ours. We did 3 for a test run. If it works out we will add 6 more. There’s a horse farm next door so we use the composted hay from their stables as the base and then just top soil from Lowe’s with some soil (sandy) from our yard. We have potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, blue berries...

    It really messes up your back and knees. Especially riding in vehicles or just sitting while wearing it. You have a 40lb weight on you for 12-16 hours a day.

    You have to go to special issue and your unit has to schedule it. If there’s no big reason for it, you won’t get anything. If you’re mobilizing for a big training mission or deploying you get all the sweet gear.

    my brothers and I have it bc we are reserve and national guard and they never issued us armor but we need it to go to the damn ranges…lol…so we just bought as close as possible to a mil issued plate carrier. You can’t tell the difference on the range or a training lane at all.
