Both of mine are in 6.5 creedmor so the recoil is negligible and not even noticeable on the HMR, and somewhat noticeable on the ridge. I would not want to carry the HMR on long hikes through the woods, that is for sure... gun is heavy especially once its loaded out
Money talks, and everyone listens haha
You honestly have a very rare piece here. Depending on better pictures to properly assess the condition would greatly help me.
The gun could be worth between $3,000 and $4,000
I would be willing to make a cash offer close to that as well, depending on...
Anything that says "Colt" on it
anything that is no longer in production, or can have sentimental value to someone

again a lot goes into the pricing of these guns and there is separation
a 4" barrel typically brings more money then the 6" or 8"

There is a lot that goes into the pricing of these guns. I have an anaconda for sale for $1800, so if they are all up over 3K+ then i guess mine would be a great buy?
you can still get pythons for under 1800... just not in great condition at all
Sadly the blue book has not been able to keep up with the price values of Colt Snake guns in the past few years. Blue book would put the gun a few hundred dollars lower than what it would sell for
It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it
About the only kind of revolvers I deal in is Colt Snake Guns, If it were me I would say the gun is worth between 800-1000 dollars without the original box and paperwork. I've sold several for 1100 with box and paperwork
Also please understand that someone may try to pass of a nickel gun as a bright stainless (only one way to know for sure that it's in fact stainless) and even if the gun is in fact stainless it is very hard to tell that colt did the polishing job and not someone down the street (takes a good...
A bright stainless 6" Python is going to run you 3500-5K.... I have one without box or paperwork that the price on it is 3500...I have a 4" nickel without box or paperwork and the price on it is 2750
I have a 4" gun in excellent condition chambered in 22 that is for sale at 1550. I just sold two other guns Today. A 6" in excellent condition I sold it for $1800 and I sold another one as well
If you are interested in the last one that I have left please let me know, again the price on it is...
