    FS Tikka T3X Lite SS 22-250

    It's called over-stabilizing a bullet! And a 22 Hornet is about 1,000 fps slower than the 22-250 with comparable weighted bullets. 3,400 fps is on the slower side for a 55 gr. bullet. Most handloaders shoot for around 3,800 fps on a 50 to 55 gr bullet.

    I get why JBKnifeworks asked about the 1 : 8" twist. That seems awfully fast for a 22-250. It probably shoots heavy bullets accurately but lighter faster bullets are going to be all over the board.
