My brother did something close to that years ago....I invite to a hunt....first deer hunt for him....one of the guy's at the club directs him to a stand....1 hour later, he has shot the nicest buck that was taken the whole year....nothing to it...

Happens all the time. What never gets mentioned is all the anxiety that comes with preparing all year.

Some visitor sits in a stand and all of the sudden: “huh, that looks like a deer… sorta…”

Then, BANG! One for the record books
