Is there a single high end brand out there that produces products that are on the very same level as companies that build the same category of products but at a much lower price? Does a company's reputation for quality build the name, or is it all a sham perpetrated on consumers?

Is this a real thing, or is it just something that people tell themselves to feel better about purchasing inferior products?

Quality is eventually synonymous with the name. When Vortx first came out they had outstanding optics for a very decent price. They still make amazing optics but now their price is through the roof. I personally feel my para ordinance is better than my Kimber, but a lot of that could be chalked up to preference

In the house paint industry, there are only a few manufacturers...PLENTY of distributors that take the same product, and alter it to their recipes, and market it as better....
